The moment you step into La Conca Pizzeria, you are greeted by the tantalizing smell of freshly baked pizza. The pizzeria has a warm, rustic vibe, with its charming decor that reminds you of Italy's rich culinary history. From the bright red checkered tables to the open kitchen where the pizza chef skillfully tosses dough in the air, the entire experience feels authentic and inviting.

A standout feature of this pizzeria is its wood-fired oven, which delivers perfectly crispy crusts with a delightful smoky flavor. Each pizza is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients that transport your taste buds straight to Italy.

If you're not in the mood for pizza, La Conca also offers a variety of classic pasta dishes. The spaghetti alla carbonara is a customer favorite, featuring perfectly al dente pasta coated in a creamy sauce made from eggs, pecorino cheese, guanciale, and black pepper. For a heartier option, try the lasagna, which is baked to perfection with layers of rich meat sauce, creamy bΓ©chamel, and gooey melted cheese.

What truly sets La Conca Pizzeria apart is its dedication to fresh, local ingredients. The vegetables used in the dishes come straight from nearby farms, ensuring that every bite is bursting with flavor. The restaurant's commitment to sourcing quality produce is evident in every dish, from the colorful salads to the savory sauces. The quality of the ingredients is second to none, giving the dishes an authentic and fresh taste that can't be beat.

In addition to its pizza and pasta offerings, La Conca also has a selection of delicious desserts. The tiramisu is a must-try; it's light, creamy, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of coffee flavor. Another favorite is the cannoli, a crunchy pastry filled with a sweet ricotta filling that will satisfy any sweet tooth.

When it comes to drinks, La Conca offers a great selection of Italian wines, many of which are sourced from local vineyards. Whether you're enjoying a glass of Chianti or a crisp white wine, the drink menu complements the food perfectly. For those who prefer something non-alcoholic, there are also refreshing sodas and homemade lemonades available.

Very good Italian food. Definitely would highly recommend stopping by whether with friends or a date. Atmosphere is beautifully done. Food was incredible and waiter was somewhat attentive. As with any restaurant in Italy the bread they immediately serve you is not free now is basic water so just be aware not surprised.

Sharing the menu here as was hard to find online. They do take away pizza which was cheap and very tasty. Just make sure you ask them to slice it if you like me, staying in a hotel room with no cutlery. Tasty pizza, can’t speak to the rest of the menu but great if staying in the area and don’t want to drive to Lucca for dinner.

Dined here three times over the last month. And every single visit the food was excellent, the wine superb and the staff great. They answered our mangled Italian in English and were kind and sweet. Odd location for what is probably price/ quality wise the best restaurant we visited in Italy in a month time. Highly recommended

Sunday lunch was magnificent. Seafood in particular was very fresh and tasted sublime. Pastas and risotto were cooked to perfection; the chef’s culinary skill is apparent. And the service was friendly and professional, even to the extent of putting up with our limited ability to speak Italian. We will return.

Food was decent. The wait staff reiterated 3 times that no pizza (or calzone) could be ordered for dinner, which was fine but never offered a reason why. Nice outside patio overlooking the hills and countryside.

La Conca in Capannori is a hidden gem! This restaurant is popular among locals and offers delicious traditional Luchesse dishes. The appetizers were scrumptious, especially the meatballs. The stuffed squid was a hit too. The homemade Luchesse pasta with ragu was divine. The friendly atmosphere made us feel at home. Catching up with friends from different places over wine and fantastic food made it a memorable experience. Definitely worth the drive!

Fantastic local restaurant, went there 3 times during our stay in Capannori. Lots of lactose free and gluten free options too for those who need them.
